CIC 17: Minimalism

"Minimalism describes movements in various forms of art and design, especially visual art and music, where the work is stripped down to its most fundamental features", according to Wikipedia. Sometimes "minimalism" is simply explained as "less is more".

The topic has featured before: during October 2004 as CTF Challenge 65 ( https://pbase.com/ctfchallenge/c65_minimalism ) and during November 2005 as CSLR Challenge 55 ( https://pbase.com/cslr_challenge/cslr55_minimalism ) where you can also refer for better explanations of "minimalism" and of course also to numerous examples.

I trust the topic is wide enough to interest all; not too recent to be boring; yet challenging enough to lead to some wonderful creativity.
