Forgotten

Not sure if this is on topic - Banish to Pending if appropriate; it's used to that sort of thing.

Thanks again Troy & Jano; As you say Jano, lots of possibilities. I took some 1 sec hand braced exposures of the inside of this old Dam house with my new toy (10-22mm), including machinery and graffitti. Very interesting subject. I'll go back with a tripod.

Thanks for the post! I am happy to leave it here... I think "minimalism" can be interpreted differently by different people and I therefore tend to leave it up to the voting process to decide which image appealed to most as best interpretation of the topic. Hope that is OK with all. Compliments and regards Nico

Thanks for the spell check Kelly. My comment was just an obtuse way of saying that the structure has been abandoned and neglected for some time now.

Your image should stay - your spell check, maybe not ;)

So, has this image been banished before?!? ... if not, why should it be used to that sort of thing?

To me it certainly is on-topic for at least two reasons: minimal lighting and subject.

I like the atmosphere of this, it begs for a story to be assembled.
