Well yes, the students only occupy a small portion of the image in a physical sense to be sure....but the larger thing that hurls them backwards through history as I like to say or, what minimizes them more...is the obvious weight of history as compared to their...mortal transience.

Students lollygagging at the far end of History...off in the distance, playing, talking, eating candy during a break....while the walls wait, as they ever have. This is oddly effective for me. Hummm Traveller
I wouldn't think this was exactly minimalist due to the wealth of detail in the arches but the title makes it clear what is minimalist about it. With just the suggestion of students it works very well. ~Sharon
