i agree w naj--the texture and shadow on the tips of the crayons add great eye appeal and the off-white frame displays the whites nicely! shu

Some really interesting compositional choices made here. Half frame - Uneven tips and paper and then the whites forming the frame. Very striking. Regards, -Najinsky

Thanks, everyone.

Danny - Heavens to Mergatroid, crayons and IKEA I need to put on my thinking hat.

Lee, you know how the SX70 frame is done. It's a PhotoShop action. LOL

Nicely done, Pops. When are you going to put together the Crayola/IKEA exhibit?

Exactly Pops! The composition, shadows, and colors really make this stand out. Simple yet somewhat elegant in its appearance. I even like the polaroid frame bringing a different shade of white/gray to make this stand out. Great photo to start the challenge with :) jano

I just want to know how you get the 30d to print those polaroid frames? 8-)

I'm with Sharon, we *know* those crayons and yet I see them anew with distinct individuality. -Michael
