I love b&w when done beautifully and this is one. Love the dried grass/hay in front which puts this totally on topic, but yet much to view otherwise. jano

Thanks CameraShy09 and alexeig. I did bump the contrast a smidge but not too much.

Nice b/w ... If you permit me ... the middles are great, but highes/lowes are something to work on

Lovely sky and I, too, like the path leading through the photo. - CameraShy09

The plane definitely adds something to this. Excellent subject and use of leading lines. Regards, Michael

It has an emotional punch...the B&W is especially effective here. Traveller

Thanks Nico, the plane is descending into Melbourne Airport which is just a few Km from this spot. It is not much of a problem capturing a plane here especially given the flights over the Easter holiday period.

This was a quarry which is now being developed into a housing estate with parkland and a lake around which a walking track meanders. It is all a bit dry at the moment.

The following image has been taken looking toward the track/foot bridge from the left hand side of this image. I was hoping for a 'walker' or bike rider to happen along to add interest but that did not eventuate... so it remains a stark image.

This one conveys the "dry" message stronger than the other post, in my opinion. And the incoming (?) plane adds a nice touch... amazing timing. Regards Nico
