My camera work has turned increasingly to portraits, including weddings and other commercial work. Producing slide shows with still images and video taken with a conventional Samsung camcorder, plus surprisingly good video from a Nikon 7900, has been my main focus for at least a year, but I took the time today, August 10, 2005, to post some of the recreational images I've taken with my beloved Canon 20D. The very colorful images were inspired by a visit to the Bishop California Gallery of Galen Rowell's masterful work. To think that his images were captured with film camera and just a couple of filters defies my imagination. It is easy to understand why he was the most published photographer in the history of National Geographic
