South Texas Birds

Texas is a Mecca for bird photography. Its diversity of climates provides perfect habitats for many birds that remain in the state year round. Its sheer size makes it necessary for many other species to traverse its expanse during their annual migration. The gulf Coast and the lower Rio Grande Valley are especially good areas for photography. I return to my native state every chance I can to photography birds and am seldom disappointed.
