The area around Aswan and Luxor. I did this trip in the summer of 2006, the temperatures were in the mid-40's Celcius. But it's a dry heat, like standing in front of a fire. I took the overnight train from Cairo to Aswan, then a cruise downstream (north) to Luxor. A total of 12 nights in Upper Egypt.
