Strange bug in my garden. Seems to be a lot of these around. Hadn't noticed them before, but then again, I probably never really looked close enough to notice... That's what PaD stands for !

Chris is right it is a Shield bug, otherwise known as a stink bug, because well they stink when scared! Great macro I love these little fellas!

I think it's a shield bug - they come in all colours but are essentially shield shaped -http://www.pbase.com/image/54558256 - They are harmless but can give off an unpleasant small if disturbed - hence the N American name of stink bug!! Chris:) (A mine of useless information!)
