view map

Operation Stack is a procedure used by Kent Police
and the Port of Dover in England to park (or "stack") lorries on the M20 motorway in Kent
when services across the English Channel, such as those through the Channel Tunnel or from the Port of Dover,
are disrupted, for example by bad weather, industrial action, fire or derailments in the tunnel.

OK... so this is just way too scary! No! No! Not the traffic jam but... you are driving on the wrong side of the road! Yikes! It boggles my brain!

We call this a traffic jam in the US... Very frustrating for drivers!!
ps ~ be careful because you're driving on the wrong side of the highway! ;)

It must be a frustrating time...and costly too. It's been on our news too.

Have seen this on the news of late. Hope your journey wasn't disrupted. A nice blue sky too, I see.
