The time we were in Derbyshire was also the time for the annual well dressing. Every year, from May
to September, the ancient wells of Derbyshire are decorated - dressed - with intricate mosaics using
natural materials such as leaves, moss, flower petals and even coffee beans, on a bed of moist clay.
