Tangerine Trifle

Put some sponge fingers (also known as boudoir biscuits or savoyardi) into a glass dish and sprinkle with freshly squeezed orange juice
(for a non-boozy version) or some sweet sherry (for a boozy one). Peel and segment some tangerine oranges (or clementines or any other
small easy-peeling orange), or you could use canned oranges at a pinch! Scatter these over the sponge. Make up some custard using
custard powder (or, if you’re really keen, you could make it from scratch using eggs!). When cool, pour this over the fruit and sponges,
then top with whipped cream. Decorate with hundreds and thousands, and a final cherry on the top!
