Brousse-le-Château

Brousse-le-Château, one of the most beautiful villages in France (Note: there are literally thousands of these!)
The castle which gives its name to the town dates from the 13th – 15th centuries and is a good example of French medieval architecture,
with the towers and original castle ramparts keeping watch over the village for more than 600 years.
Leading up to the castle is this stone bridge built in the 15th century in the Roan style, i.e. with a rounded arch, not pointed.
