Sipahi – the Byzantine Basilica Agia Triada, dating from the 5th century. Little remains of the main structure,
though the extensive and intricate mosaic floors of the basilica still exist. These mosaics were quite stunning,
though in places overgrown with weeds and lacking any kind of protection from the elements. There was a man on duty
at the site (whose function was not apparent), but little other evidence that this site was considered worthy of preservation.
Which is a real shame!
