Mount Rundle, Vermillion Lakes Area, Banff National Park

Mount Rundle is a dramatic expression of a Rocky Mountain Thrust Sheet, the earth's tectonic forces at work. It is a prominent feature in the Banff area. Here it is seen from the beautiful Vermillion Lakes area.
