Three wise old men.......

These are the ceremonies of old men, talking of nothing but their health and the weather. But the bonds of friendship, especially when long and tried and true, acquire an elegant simplicity --- there is no more need to impress each other. You have captured this so vividly. Bravo!!!

not sure that there can be anything more perfect.
I can only hope to have friends like that.

Wonderful street shot, I'd like to see this one in B&W too! Vote

Lots of stories to tell I'm sure. Love the shoes off and pant leg up. Classic.

Great interaction...Comrades, fantastic Roberto. I love the way they are cuddling up together, with that space on the left...like a symbol of their closeness ;-)K

Yes indeed, skin tones add something.

Thank you Andre for the suggestion, but I can't think to this shot in monochrome. I love the delicate colors here, and the skin tones of the subjects.

A classic. Great shot. Have you tried it in BW or in sepia mode ?

One of your best lately! It's necessary to know a little Italy to grasp all the details of this scene.
The photo itself is taken cleverly and elegantly, there is a lot of sympathy and respect and , at the same time, the necessary little distance of the visual story teller, who is not an actor, but in a way an involuntary director.
Getting older is a hard job...
Fantastic photo!

One looking down, one looking away, one looking at you! Three different expressions. Three different body language. Even three different way of wearing trousers! Luckily only one with shoes off :-) Excellent catch, Roberto.

wonder what they are chatting about?! ;)

I am missing Europe for this kind of scene! Very much in your "concrete" style, on top of being very human!
