I congratulate you for this picture of a very moving episode in a cruel war. As I am sure you know there are countless acts of courage and real manhood in the Gallipoli campaign. I do not recall any other war in which the two opposing sides had so much compassion and respect for each other. I guess this is the main reason why the sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters of ANZACs cover such long distances each year to visit this sacred battle ground.
