Yard Dog trial - yard dogs - Kelpie dogs working sheep - Penola Show in South Australia
I thought I was hallucinating - woke up to find us surrounded by a thick fog and a sea of sheep
racing by, heading to the showgrounds. These sheep, several hundred of them, were to be used
in a Yard Dog trial I found out. Never having seen a Yard trial before I was keen to watch
dogs working with sheep - to me it is iconic of rural Australia.
