Top End Lizards

Top End Lizards
Surprisingly on our trip to the Top End of the Northern Territory we did not come
across a single wild snake, nor any larger monitors / goannas, not even a Frill
necked Lizard. Either they stayed well hidden, they were waiting for the
Wet Season or there is less of them about due to the Cane Toads.

Nonetheless we got to see a few lizards, skinks and even gheckos were
seen and heard at night just to remind us we were in the tropics. I
would be pleased with any help identifying these lizards.

I am guessing a number of them are " Ta Ta " lizards as I saw some of them
waving their front feet. They were particularly common at Edith Falls
near Katherine.
