abandoned house near Lake Albacutya

In the semi-arid wimmera mallee region of Victoria. Our attempts to find this
again in recent years have been fruitless. I guess we could have just asked a
farmer or other local. Anyone would think we enjoy travelling rough random back
roads in a station wagon, and encountering numerous gypsum-hauling trucks,
choking on their clouds of dust. That was quickly forgotten when I finally
spied the old place, traversed long grass, bitey ants and three corner jacks
to get an update photo - top left!
