Bundaberg - bundy

Mon Repos beach, east of Bundaberg, is well known for marine turtle nesting and hatching between November and March.
We were there before the main nesting season begins so did not get to see any turtles.

The Bundaberg Botanical Gardens provided some great wildlife opportunities including water dragons and nesting egrets.

From near Bundaberg one can do a day trip out to Lady Musgrave Island, southern Great Barrier Reef.
