Boo

I took a sequence of 6 shots of this Grey Heron as it came into land, the Oyster catcher was oblivious to its arrival until the last second.

The bright sunshine meant that the shot was slightly overexposed, I later messed on with the settings and found that -2/3rds of a stop seemed to be about optimum, by that time the moment had gone so this shot needed some PS to tidy it up. I also wondered if using the OS on a mono pod was a good idea, maybe this has thrown the focus a little, on a tripod i would have just switched the OS off. This new Lens is a big learning curve.

Canon EOS 30D

Wonderful! They are so thin to have such a large span of wings!
