Nut hatch

My Tamron lens is a compromise to say the least, if the sun is even threatening to go behind a cloud it just gives up and dies. However every now and again the sun shines in the right place and the old girl produces a shot worthy of posting.I know its not going to win any competitions but until I get that 500mm prime I'll just have to wait for the sun to shines again. Here's to all the Skint photographers out their :-)

The PAD shot that has stood out for me today is this one, its a bird shot that puts this one to shame , if you haven't already done so please take a look

Canon EOS 30D
1/1000s f/5.0 at 238.0mm iso1000 full exif

I like the way you've caught him with his beak pointing up, it makes for a good composition...

Great nut hatch image, put the lens on your birthday wish list, I am sure someone will get it for you.
