North Gare

Another one of yesterdays attempts at a Sea Scape, I spent a lot of time messing about with different exposures but settled on this one to get the effect I wanted, its had a cooling filter applied in PS to get rid of the yucky brown on the water. I'm fairly new to this Sea scape stuff so please feel free, as always, to criticise and/or advise.

Good work - you've captured the mood of a cold winter's day at the beach.

Don't think there's much wrong with that in my view Kevin! The composition is spot on with a great eye-line, there's plenty of wave action despite the long exposure and the blue colour really makes this feel like a winter's day at the beach. Nope, it's all good from where I'm sat!!

Nice exposure to blur a bit of the waves but still let them keep there shape.

Very nice sense of action and motion. Just feels cold! Jeff's work is amazing and consistently excellent too.

This is very cool Kevin, the longer exposure gives a lovely soft look to the water...well done! V
