IMG_1094_edit 4 lay.jpg

I had another crack at editing my Rainbow shot after taking some advice from other PBasers. Paul suggested cloning out the blown out area, so I did this and highlighted the trees a little more. I couldn't do anything with the crop from the Right of the shot as I was restricted when I took the shot by distractions that I wanted to keep from view, but I have shown a little more of the left. Thanks for all the comments and advice on the original , please let me know what you think of this version.

This is the original

Compositionaly it is stronger now, Kevin.... LOL at Phil, but he does have a point...the rainbow appears just a tad obvious, or maybe "thick" sums it up well!! Still a great shot though :)

Grand bit of cloning on the burned out bit! The rainbow looks a little... dunno the word, 'thick' is all I can think of - not as in wide, as in it should be a little less... solid - somehow. Hmm, a bit more watery maybe? :o)

I wish I could see the original again to compare the two images; however, I think this is stunning Kevin!!! :)
