??

Any flowers or insects I have marked with ?? are unidentified , normally due to my lack of expertise. Feel free to browse further into this gallery and identify as many as you can. Its a nice little quiz and I get the benefit of learning all the names. Much appreciated. Kevin.

Looks like you know about as much about flowers as I do, Kevin! ;o)
Fine shot of this little mauve one though.
Best regards, Chris

You don't have enough of the plant itself to be sure but it could be the flower of what is commonly referred to as the Silver Dollar. The seed pods are thin, translucent, and about the size of a dollar and shimmer in the wind. There is also a weed that grows as high as two and a half to three feet tall that has a flower almost identical to the Silver Dollar.

My expert eye tells me that this one's def not a creepy-crawly, so by a process of elimination, I deduce that it must be a flower :o)
