The chance that this budding oak tree will grow into a large tree is minimal.
In a real forest there is hardly any light on the ground.
For example, a beech only lets 3% of the light through.
And so a sapling on the ground has a hard time.
Most are immediately eaten by deer and other animals anyway.
But even if they survive, it can take decades before they are a few meters high.
