The desert is flowering

Central Australia

This photo was taken by my friend Ans, while I was driving 110 km an hour!
It shows the amazing colours of the desert flowers against the deep red.
Somewhere between Erldunda and Kulgera, along the Stuart Highway.

The contrasts out there are always like no other place. I think your purple is Salvation Jane, also known as Patterson's Curse ( and it certainly is that. )
