It is always a treat to see a great artist that you've never heard of before. I don't know how John stayed hidden from me for so long but I expect a lot more people will know him soon.

If you like your Blues with a touch of R&B and Soul... If you like your R&B with a touch of Blues and Soul... If you like your Soul with a little Blues and R&B... Well I guess you get the picture. John's music is a great mix of all of this. He plays a mean harmonica (without the need of blistering solos on every song) and has a great voice.

Junior Watson (Mighty Flyers, Canned Heat, and many more) is his guitar player so those licks are great as well. An upright bass and drummer completed the band for the live performance. His latest CD has keyboards and the Texas Horns as well.
