Stirling City - Smaller Town Life

Stirling City, where I live, was a logging town. It was built to support the logging
industry in 1904. During the period of 1910 through about 1930, Stirling City had
the largest population in the area. Now there is little left, the population has shrunk
to around 375 and there are only traces of the logging era, although there are still
logging operations going on.
