Victor Factory

30 years ago, this was known as a place you could get a job if you needed one.
I guess there was a high-turnover rate. They made tubes, used for toothpaste, here. I wanted to
snoop around and shoot some photos of the interior but there isn't anything more than this
open-to-the-air shell.

I love this! The faded red lettering and that crisp, deep blue sky... Nice!

Immediately made me think of RCA Victor records - rather more galmorous than toothpaste tubes!
This is an absolute gem and must admit of being a tad jealous:-)

Well done for catching such an abandoned palce so well. A very welcoming place to work... I think not ;)

You have effectively captured the history, the age of the structure and the mood of abandonment. Well done.

Love it. Great catch.

Compelling. One feels the urge for further exploration. I see this too as a sign of the tmes.

Not going to be there for much longer perhaps, Cheryl. I love the age of the word.

No wonder no one wanted to work there. The fence with the barbed wire looks like they had to keep you from running away screaming. :) Every town has a factory with a high turnover rate it seems.

Great photo. Love the dated and worn out look of the building.

love the blue sky

I LOVE this!! Straight out of a movie backlot. Each color is perfectly saturated yet burnished with age. Shading at the uppermost sky is grand. Voteworthy indeed, Cheryl!

Great caption and cool photo. Great blue sky to set off the red logo.
