After Hamburg we still had a few days of vacation left, so spontaneously decided to spend a few days in the mountains of Bavaria. We found ourselves in a tranquil place, far from the "civilized" world. We've seen almost all the major cities and other beautiful surroundings of Bavaria, so we decided to add two major attractions to our trip. We booked a nice hotel in Bad Reichenhall, a very nice and quite fancy health resort, only 7 km away from Salzburg and 15 km from Berchtesgaden. During our trip we visited the famous Eagle's nest, which is over 1800 meters and can only be reached by a special bus. What was once Hitler's favorite getaway has been turned into a museum and restaurant, where one can enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Königssee.
