the Historic Market Square

San Antonio, Texas

I stopped by this historic square, but they were celebrating the kickoff of Spring Break so it was very crowded, just like the Pearl district.
I didn't get any really good pictures here, but when I was scrolling through them, it looks like this guy might have been mugging for the camera. I thought it was pretty funny.
The young girl wasn't wearing a mask, and I really didn't want to show her face, so I tried to create one on her.

A very good capture of the square. Spring break or not, it is ALWAYS that crowded. I've gone early in the morning to photograph the architecture and the restaurants. Our favorite stop is Mi Tierra Panaderia. The bar in there is fantastic (woodwork... lol, not the booze)

lots of bustling here, and lots of colour too...any sense of history is clearly being submerged for the sake of contemporary sensibilites..
