Torn Curtain

Redondo Beach, California

There is a vacant lot not far from me on a main street. A very desirable area but it has been sitting empty for years. For whatever reason, the chain link fence is covered by tarps that are wearing away. They aren't hiding anything, just an empty lot full of weeds.

This reminded me of our current situation: lives torn asunder and fenced in. Not too much longer, I hope!

Nice! I feel as if I'm on the street, peering through the rent and the chain linked fence.

Very well seen and captured. I thinks would make an amazing B&W. I bet that piece of land is worth a fortune. ~BV~

This image resonates strongly with the current situation. Don't see "normal" on the horizon any time soon. "V"

a good analogy, especially with the weeds beyond adding weight to the image...the reference to Hitchcock's taught thriller is inspired..
