The Borromean Palace is on a small island, Isola Bella. It was started in the 17th century by Carlos Borromeo to honor his wife, Isabella.
It's very ornate Baroque design was added to over the years and while I am not a big fan of trooping through palaces and museums, I really enjoyed visiting this one.
