The late Dennis Avery, owner of Galleta Meadows Estates, envisioned the idea of adding 'free standing art' to his property with original steel welded sculptures created by artist Ricardo Breceda at his Perris Jurassic Park studio in Perris, California. inspired by creatures that roamed this same desert millions of years ago, the artworks range from prehistoric mammals to historical characters, fanciful dinosaurs, and a 350-foot-long fanciful serpent. He started this project in 2008 and there are about 130 or 150 of these sculptures spread over three thousand acres in this desert.
