May 26-30, 2002: Welcome to our Family Vacation! Yosemite is a geological wonder; the thundering waterfalls, towering cliffs and mirror lakes left us in awe. To the south and scattered through parts of the park were groves of giant Sequoia trees. Towering 250 feet, some have survived nearly 3000 years to become the last living witnesses of a time before man. |
