Gathering Nectar
(07.27.05)

I visited a patch of sunflowers early today. It was about the only time today when the light was good. It was a blistering hot day with a hazy sun. No sunset, I just watched the sun sink deeper and deeper in a bed of haze until it vanished. Image Notes: Slight "Poster Edge" filter applied in Photoshop.

The heat is over!!! Finally. Thought I would die. I like the post processing. Very subtle. If you hadn't mentioned it I don't know I would have notice. At any rate, it really enhances this beautiful capture of a sunflower unfurling in that hot sun.
