This reminds me of Paul Gruchow's tremendous essay "Weeds"--which I wish was on the web someplace. (If it was I'd post the link.) In any case this flower makes a beautiful "weed."
They say that weeds are invasive plants that can dominate
and often cause permanent damage to natural plant communities.
HEY.. that sounds like humans! Anyway... much like many humans, this weed is beautiful.
