Curiousity could kill the deer

I've had photography burn-out and a slow computer so I haven't felt like doing anything with pictures.
Then the other day when I saw two deer in my backyard I had to dig the camera out of the
bottom of my closet. I just knew they were going to be history before I could get a shot of them.
I went outside and they ran across the back of the yard then stopped and look at me. Nice for me but not wise.

Great catch, Char. You still have the knack. I have been feeling the same lack of enthusiasm so haven't posted here for a couple of months. Let's hope the spark returns for us both.

I know they can be a common pest but they're so graceful and beautiful I don't see how people can kill them. Nice that you shot them with your camera.
January Grey02-Nov-2010 07:17
Fortunate for them you only had a camera! Nice shot, Char! Nothing like a couple deer running across the yard to motivate the photographer ;) V~

How awesome! Yes, I feel like that too sometimes but then I have photo jobs to do and have to work on those. Deer season is right around the corner. These ladies should hide but I'm glad they waited for you to get their picture!

Super shot of the two deer Char. Deer seem to often give you a second chance. They dart away, then stop to look back at you with their ears up.

Its the cold weather thats going to keep me indoors for the next five months. Unfortunately there are not many deer in the middle of a city with a population of two million :)
Karen Stuebing01-Nov-2010 20:28
Good luck for you they stopped. Great photo. Take a break if you need one. You'll get back in the groove soon.
