We watched and followed this beautiful black maned lion in the Mara bush off and on through the afternoon.
Here he is alert, having heard or seen something that got his attention.
A more majestic creature than this is hard to imagine.
Note the scars on his face and his beautiful mane which looks as though it has been brushed .
