....And just for fun, and in the context of "lightening up the look" of this gallery,
this iconic image of teenage footwear, will undoubtedly take over the current fad for jogging shoes
in wild colors and patterns complete with neon shoestrings seen currently in the US.
This all white look was seen all over Rome and Florence on our April / May trip.

It is pretty much consistent in my experience of many years of travel in Italy,
that what is seen in Italy, appears in the US two years later !
