Students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 were members of an after school club called digital images. They learned how to use digital cameras, download pictures, and use photoshop elements 3.0 to finalize their photo assignments. They used a $60 camera from Walmart (10 were donated in memory of Jim Hayward), my nikon 3100, and one student brought a camera. Thank you for taking the time to comment and view their work. They are very excited to have pictures posted online. They are anxious to see what people think of
their talent! We will be having a showing for their parents in April.
Most of their Gallery Images on this page were an assignment in using filters. They choose some flower pictures their teacher took and then turned them into 'PhotoArt'. Please click on a student gallery to see all of that student's work. Click again to view individual photos more closely.
Thanks for visiting and commenting!
Other Assignments included were: Red object, Shape or Alphabet Letter, Leaves, Flowers, close-ups, an object, digital flower art.
To all of the students of the digital image club. GREAT JOB!!!. What fun. I can see where you all used your imaginations with color, shapes, composition etc. You not only took the pictures but used a computer tool to change/enhance/expand what you took a picture of. How lucky to learn such a great hobby. We didn't do anything like that in my 4/5/6 grade classes (I won't tell you how long ago. :-)) Be sure to thank your teacher Ms Frederick for such a fun project. Again Great Job to all the students.
