What a brilliant blue! It's gorgeous behind the snow covered trees. I only recently found out that cold weather does produce bluer skies than when it's warmer. I hadn't been aware there was a scientific reason for the difference---simply that cold air is drier so there's more scattering of the blue portion of sunlight than when water is in the atmosphere to absorb it.
This image certainly bears that out. Now that the hot weather is right around the corner for us, I especially enjoy seeing your winter shots.
