Amigos de Whitman Fiesta (Friends of Witman Party) was a fundraiser for a swimming pool staff
member at Pelican Eyes...Piedras y Olas Hotel & Resorts. Witman contracted a disease that left him unable
to work. The staff and friends of Piedras y Olas along with Club Sunset and Fundacion A. Jean Brugger
organized this fundraiser to help with medical costs for Whitman. Many Piedras y Olas workers as
well as students townfolks came up with creative performances.
