This shot has gotten some nice feedback, so I thought I might provide some additional information.
I live very near Three Mile Island...
No, actually, the lovely subject was of a fairly normal size. I used a Sigma 105mm macro along with 36mm of extension. That setup allows me fill the frame with an area about 15mm wide. I used a ringlight and handheld the shot. Depth of field is just silly. Maybe a millimeter or so. Luckily, this one wasn't too skittish, so I got off about 3 shots before she flew. As is usually the case, most were blurry. But this one was sharp enough to post.
