Tanya knew that there would be no tomorrow for Burt. Their last interlude was coarse, unloving, and SO typical of the "new" Burt. Ever since he met that damselfly at work, Burt was going to the gym, shaving his back, the whole "GQ" look. But Tanya received none of the finer things of romance--the flowers or regurgitated fly vomit. It was all for him and that hussy damselfly.
Tanya had one way out, one solution to the mess that had become her life. At once, Burt would be no more, and Burt would be supper. And it was good, and Tanya was free.
