Clifton Merritt

I am now into my 10th year of retirement after 31 years of teaching in the Memphis City Schools.

My two daughters live in Louisville KY and Morgantown WV. Between the two of them they have provided me with 6 grandchildren. My oldest grandson in Knoxville recently produced my first great-grandchild for me.

I still live in Midtown Memphis within a mile of the neighborhood I grew up in.

Hi, Cliff!
This is Paula Wicker. I am a teacher also now in my 22 year. I left for a while to work with my husband when we were in the auto business. Good to see you and know you are enjoying life in retirement....so there REALLY is retirement!!! Hope to see it someday, but for now I am teaching Special Education in Ripley, TN. Love the kids but not the paperwork. Take care and enjoy those young'uns! Peabody School produced some pretty good folk with their heads on! And all we had were books, pencils and papers a few crayons and a chalkboard. My how times change!
