The news keeps reporting the flooding, but I had not imagined water way out east. I was thinking a few hundred yards not several miles from the river. I wish I could take some of that off your hands. We (Central Texas) have had less than 3" of rain since last November. I hope everyone is safe and dry.

Houston news said Beal Street had flooded and the Mississippi River was six times its normal width! Simply amazing!

SAM AND I HAVE BEEN GONE A YEAR LAST MAY. WE HAD A FLOOD THE SAME TIME. THIS IS TRAGIC.

I've been gone from Memphis so long that almost all of the photos are at locations I don't recognize, but thank you, Boz, for including the photo of Confederate Park. That hit home for me, and it's hard to believe the water is that high.
