Stora Sarkofagdraget Älvdalen 180210

150 people pulled an 11 ton stone made of Älvdalskvartsit in memory of the transport of King Karl XIV Johan (1763-1844) sarcophagus in 1856. It took time to produce the piece and then they had to wait for a cold winter with enough snow and thick ice to transport it.
